Hi, I have an Exchange 2010 setup with the CAS/MBX/HUB roles and I have recently installed RMS on the same server (running Windows Server 2008). When trying to enable RMS via the Exchange Powershel, the RMS transport agent doesnt appear. I remenber from prior Exchange 2007 instalations it would appear if I would run the command "get-transportagent" and then I would enable it. Has anything changed in Exchange 2010? If yes, please see the reference below: “We do not recommend installing AD RMS on the same server as a domain controller, Microsoft Exchange, Certification Authority, or Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. Installing AD RMS on a domain controller is especially not recommended, as you must add the AD RMS service account to the Domain Admins group” ----------Refer to <What is the difference between installing AD RMS on a physical server and on Hyper-V?> Also, IRM support in OWA and UM will not function in such single-box deployment.
