Unable to edit the text box inside document

Am not able to edit the content in the text box for the document in Microsoft WORD. They seem to be active x controls and every time I double click to edit the contents of the box, it opens a dialog box for Properties. I have worked on the document earlier and was able to edit and enter the test in the boxes.

Yes, I cant edit the text inside the form. I remember editing the data earlier(couple of months ago) and now all the documents which I have created earlier are behaving the same way. I cant edit the text in the boxes and every time I double-click on the boxes it pops up the Properties and boxes can be stretched just like image.

Can you share the document? You can upload it to OneDrive or Dropbox and paste a link here. Of course, you should remove any sensitive information first.

Will not be able to share the document as it contains sensitive business information. Is there any other way you can help me with?
