Unable to create a new Public Folder in Exchange 2007 sp1
Hi, i am currently migrating from Exchange 2000 to 2007. the problem I have had so far is with public folders.WhenI try adding anew Public Folder in Exchange 2007 SP1 using the Public folder management console I receive the following message: Summary: 1 item(s). 0 succeeded, 1 failed. Elapsed time: 00:00:00 TESTFailed Error:There are multiple MAPI public trees found. Exchange Management Shell command attempted:New-PublicFolder -Name 'TEST' -Path '\' -Server 'server.domain.com' Elapsed Time: 00:00:00 I have also tried to run the AddReplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 with no success.Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. I also had this issue. This article (solution 2) pointed us in the right direction (even though we didn't not have eventID 9519). Essentially, there were some things previous admins had done, plus a possibility of a failed exchange setup that created multiple trees in AD. Using adsiedit, we were able to remove the 2nd tree by first re-homing the 2nd storage group and deleting the extra trees. This was not possible from esm or emc, adsiedit only. We opened a case with Microsoft after having some trouble in adsiedit. Maybe others can reference it if stuck: srx080708600791 1-800-936-4900
