Hello, what i m getting from your question is that you are trying to configure outlook mails, could you please explain how Exchange and Active Directory are deployed? is this problem experienced on single client or more than one clients? is your client in same LAN using MAPI or you are configuring outlook outside LAN using Outlook Anywhere? further troubleshooting and solution depends on above questions. seems there is problem with Service Connection Point registration in Active Directory, assuming you have already installed CAS server role, go to following location and let me know if SCP object is already there or not? open ADSI Edit on Domain Controller: CN=Services,[Configuration Naming Context] --> CN=<Organization> --> CN=AdministrativeGroup --> CN=Exchange Administrative Group --> CN=Servers --> CN=<CAS_Server> --> CN=Protocols --> CN=AutoDiscover --> CN=<CAS_server> also browse following links and post the results what you see in browser: https://autodiscover.domain.tld/autodiscover.xml https://autodiscover.domain.tld/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml Open Exchange Management Shell: type following command and post the result here: Get-AutodiscoverVirtualDirectory | fl mean while, are you able to access mailbox using OWA Website? Hi MYM and users of the forum. I read in a site that after an uninstallation error and a new installation, you need to restart the domain controller, but I could not restart this server yesterday. Sounds like the Offline Address Book hasnt been generated. I would start there and ensure it has and replicated correctly. http://blogs.msdn.com/dgoldman/archive/2008/10/01/understanding-why-error-code-0x8004010f-is-thrown-when-trying-to-download-an-oab.aspx

I don't know what I did, but the problem finished, I did one step. 1 - Create a new Offline Address book and did links with mailbox database. Now I will change again for old (originally) Offline Address book, and see if was the problem. Regards Letícia

Hi, Let me talk about what I find. Create a profile with the cache enabled and the error happens. Then disable the cache and the error does not happen, re-enable the cache and the error does not happen anymore. Now, if you create a profile already with the cache disabled does not help then try to swim to enable and disable it always goes wrong. What I did. 1 - I created a new OAB 2 - Became the default OAB and pointed at the mailbox database But that don't worked. Regards Letícia

Clients in cache mode use the Offline Address Book, so that makes sense that the error occurs only with those clients. So are you saying it now works? It important to remember that clients cant use the OAB until its generated on the server and downloaded by the client. One good test is to delete all the *.oab files on the cached clients workstation and download the OAB again. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/841273 Administering the offline address book in Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb232155.aspx Understanding Offline Address Books

When I deleted all *.aob files on my workstation and I opened the Outllok 2007 no files is created. But for the error does not happen anymore I have to disable and re-enable the cache option, but even so the *. oab is not generated and the error does not happened anymore. I can send and received.
