Verify that the password entered for the old password is valid, and try again. Its not because wrong password is used or password has expired or asked to change password at next login or anything like that. Just a normal, random password change via OWA. happened after We converted the mailboxes from standard mailboxes to linked mailboxes in an effort to use single sign on. Hi MrLync, Based on my experience, you cannot change the linked mailbox password in OWA. I also tested on my lab: Two Exchange Server 2007 (Exchange 2007 SP3 and Exchange 2007 SP2) When I try to changed password for linked mailbox on Exchange 2007 SP3, get the same result as you. You can know more information about change password feature in Outlook Web Access from this document: Configuring the Change Password Feature in Outlook Web Access http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb684904(EXCHG.80).aspx Thanks, Evan Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Yep.. you'll need to disable the change password feature in OWA and have the users change their passwords in their native forest.
