I've been researching on this issue for a while, so the checkbox "Don't allow apps from the Office Store to start" is unticked for these users who are not affected, correct?

So I'm wondering if this is just not related to the GPO or registry.
Try to disable all add-ins in Word, check if the issue persists.
To disable add-ins, click FILE -> Options -> Add-Ins.

I have disabled all add-ins in Word, but the apps store is still giving the same error "Please add or enable app catalogs from the Trust Center"
