I am getting following entries in Event Viewer when i try to install Office 2013 installer-

1.   Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Microsoft Office Shared 64-bit MUI (English) 2013. Product Version: 15.0.4420.1017. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation. Installation success or error status: 1603.

Hi,

You may receive this error message if any one of the following conditions is true:

• The folder that you are trying to install the Windows Installer package to is encrypted.
• The drive that contains the folder that you are trying to install the Windows Installer package to is accessed as a substitute drive.
• The SYSTEM account does not have Full Control permissions on the folder that you are trying to install the Windows Installer package to. You notice the error message because the Windows Installer service uses the SYSTEM account to install software.

I suggest you clear the temp folder(Search and open %temp%), then perform a clean boot to try installing Office again.
