Two user accounts with the same email address - could that result in lost email?
I'm troubleshooting an issue where there is lost email. Here is the setup: SBS 2003 SP2 using POP3 connector to deliver email to users One of the users has three email domains. The pop connector pops three email servers - one for each of the user's three email addresses. Each is set to deliver to a separate active directory account. Then in the user's Outlook profile on her machine she has the two additional exchange accounts entered in more settings >> advanced tab >> open these additional mailboxes. She just recently has decided not to use one of the domains anymore. At one point I accidentally changed one of the additional users active directory exchange email address to the same email address as the user she logs on as. It appears that all email downloaded while that situation existed is missing. We don't have tracking turned on. Would this email just have NOT been delivered to ANY mailbox? If anyone has any tips on searching for these emails it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,As my understanding that the user login mailbox via Exchange account with two additional mailbox,is that ture? Then how did you store messages, just store on the server of download to the local disk.Have you clear the delegation permission?Manage another person's mail and calendar itemshttp://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HA100750921033.aspxRegards,Xiu
