Two exchange 2007 servers but in different domains and a crossed a VPN how do I make them share info and allow users to have emails with both but delivered to one mail box???
The company I consult to has offices all over the world with at least 4 different internal domains and 7 different outside domains. They currently have two Exchange 2007 servers one in Ireland then other in Washington, they want both servers to talk so everyone on one global list can see the other and a user on site a can have a email on site b but only have their mailbox on site a. I have read a bunch of things out here but most do not go with exchange 2007. Help. Thanks

If the servers are in different forests, then the presence of a VPN doesn't make one bit of a difference. You are talking about sharing the SMTP address space if you want users to be able to send email from both servers. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676395(EXCHG.80).aspx For a single GAL you are looking at GAL sync: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc720662(WS.10).aspx However long term you should probably look to migrate to a single forest and Exchange org.
