Two SystemMailboxes on one Database
I recently built a new Exchange 2003 server to move some users over and balance a few things out. I noticed that there are two systemmailboxes on that database. I check and there is only one systemmailbox user object in AD under Exchange System Objects. At this point, there are no users on the DB and just myself on the server. I am thinking just deleting the DB and the mailboxstore and recreate it. Anybody have any other ideas. I can't see how tihs would this would be an issue. I think this happen because AD was slow when I was creating the DB and click retry for a mount. Paul.

Thats certainly odd and yes I would start with dismounting, killing the db files and remount to recreate and then review. If its still there then it could be an AD and I would ensure your AD is healthy before repeating the DB kill processTroy Werelius www.Lucid8.com

I did and it appears to have worked. Odd I know. I was curious to see if anyone else had seen this. After back tracking my install process, I noticed the last time the other System mailbox was accessed was during the build so it may have been something to do with the move to the san as well. thank troy Pau.
