Two Outlook 2007 installations on two computers for the same user.
My boss has two offices. Each office has a PC with Outlook 2007 installed. We use Exchange 2003. He says that he is getting email on one of his Outlook 2007 installations only. On his PC here, his last email received was in February. Can Exchange send two copies of the same email to two Outlook clients? Thanks, Bill

Hi, If he is using Outlook in cached or online mode he should be able to see all e-mails on both workstations. Check that the profile where mails are missing is configured correctly and that Outlook is online. Leif

Both Outlook's are "Connected to Microsoft Exchange." Should the one with the missing emails be set to online mode?

I'd do that just to see if the OST file's hosed. If it is, delete it and then set the client back to cached-mode to rebuild the OST. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Hi Bill, You mentioned the user's last receive mail time is February. So please make sure he can receive emails as of now. After it, you can create a new outlook profile for him. If you have tried all the suggestions(including someone others') and problem persisted please feedback here. Best Regards!

Yes, I sent him a test email yesterday and he received it on the PC in question. This morning, I took his Outlook out of cached mode and restarted. The number of emails in his in box matched the number of emails in his in box on his other PC. I then put Outlook back in cached mode. I'll have him check his email when he gets in and report back the results.

I expect that once he's working in cached mode with the original OST file that the problem wll be the same. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP
