Turning off RPC cancel request dialog
I want to suppress the Outlook RPC cancel request dialog boxes from popping up, by following the steps in this KB article -- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/833007/. According to the article, I need to create new REG_DWORD values in the HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Outlook\Display
Options\Balloons registry key. It says to create REG_DWORD values called "NetWarn(REG_DWORD)" and "Exchange(REG_DWORD)" with the "(REG_DWORD)" appearing to be part of the value name, and assign a value data of 0. This
is getting into semantics, but I need clarification -- should the values be called literally "NetWarn (REG_DWORD)" and "Exchange (REG_DWORD)", or should they just be called "NetWarn" and "Exchange"? I'm asking
because I've never had to create a registry value with the data type as part of the value name, but that's what the article seems to be saying.
My environment is Exchange 2003 Ent SP2, on Windows 2003 Ent SP2, with Outlook 2003 SP2 clients.
Thanks in advance.

Yea, thats kinda screwy looking in that KB huh?
All you should need is the actual name of the keys, not the (REG_DWORD) junk in the name.
(If rolling this out too many, use the GPO instead)
