Trying to deactivate calendar (only this computer) 365

Hello.

I currently use Outlook 365 with an exchange account and an IMAP account.

My Exchange calendar is the only calendar I use, as this one also synchs to my laptop and my phone. Now as with the new outlook, I do get another calendar with an addition to the name like [only on this computer]. And it is not possible to delete this calendar.

Unfortunately again and again, I happen to enter meetings into this default [only on this computer] calendar. This happens, when I get meeting request via the IMAP account or sometimes when I simply click on new appointment, because in the appointment dialogue, you cannot see or chose which calendar this appointment is going to go to.

Therefore it happens, that sometimes appointments end up in this local calendar [only on this computer], where my colleagues cannot see it, my other computer cannot see it, and my phone will never receive them.

Is there any way of deleting or deactivating this calendar?

I posted this before in two other Microsoft forums and was now referred to this forum, with some hope that here might me someone who knows, how to deal with that.

So far, thanks for reading,
Gunther

In Outlook 2010, Calendar and Contact items were stored in a separate pst-file from the mail items but in Outlook 2013 everything is included in the single IMAP ost-file.

Actually, I should say; everything can be included, as it is only required to do so when you set your IMAP data file as the default in Outlook 2013. It is still perfectly possible to set things up in a separated way as it was in Outlook 2010.

Hi Tony,

what you describe worked very well with my Office 2013.
But since I use Office 365 I cannot find a way anymore to get rid of this
second calendar, even if my exchange account is my primary account. This second
local calendar comes and goes with the additional IMAP account.

Update: ok, I now know, this has nothing to do with 365. I migrated my other computer to 365 and there is no such thing a  non deletable calendar. Funny thing.

I am dazzled.

I know for sure I tried this in the past a few times. But today I removed the IMAP Account and then added it again 5minutes later - and the unremovable calender is gone.

And I have absolutely no idea, why this worked this time.
