Trouble Setting Permissions on Public Folders
I am having trouble setting permissions on my Exchange 2003 Public Folders. It seems that when I add a DL to the list, that's when I get the error message. If I add individual users to a folder, then it seems to be okay. The error message (using Outlook 2003) is as follows: The modified permissions could not be saved. If I try to use Exchange Admin to set client permissions I get the following error message after clicking the Client Permissions button: Invalid window handle ID no: 80040102 Exchange System Manager I've seen Q313333, but it appears that's only for Exchange 2K and I don't have the pfinfo.exe file. I'm not about to add individual users to all of my public folders and keep that mess straight and up to date. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this problem so that I can use Outlook to set the permissions on existing and future Public Folders? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

We used the PFDavAdmin tool to change the permissions settings http://searchexchange.techtarget.com/downloadPage/0,295339,sid43_gci1122768,00.html

Thanks for the info! It will let me add individual user permissions to a public folder, but it won't let me add any groups. When I search or browse for them, I'm not seeing any of my groups (security or DL). Am I required to add only users?
