Hi all i want to install exchange server 2007 in coexists environment on exchange server 2003 Architecture i have We have two exchange server 2003 one front -end server which perfrom to receive external emails and forward to backend server and also perform web mail authentication also configure on it and second backend server in which have all maiblox are store and route internal to external emails ...now i want to transition to exchange server 2007 can any one provide the best transition steps in my case.thanks

Thanks i have tried to install exchange server 2007 enterprise edition in windows 2008 r2 standard edition ,two roles have sucessully installed but below error occur on mailbox role. "Exchange server component mailbox role failed Error An error occured. The error code was 3221684229. The message was Access is denied."

Hi, Agree with MYousufAli. If your Exchange Server version is not Exchange 2007 SP3, we recommend you install Exchange 2007 SP3 instead. Based on my experience, this error often occurs when you install Exchange Server 2007 SP1 on Windows Server 2008R2, because Exchange Server 2007 (RTM, SP1, and SP2) is not supported on Windows Server 2008 R2. Thanks for all support Now i have successfully installed all roles ..and i have move 1 mailbox for testing first .and i can send and receive internal external emails and when i press send and receive on outlook receive one error which is "Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F) : "The operation failed An Object couldn ot found" i have manually created Public folder database but still i got error ..can you please help me out please or one more thing how to configure OWA on exchange server 2007..waiting for your valuable response..

It seems to be When i tried to download the addreess book this error occur..current my OAB is point to old exchange server how to resolve this..

is there any way both exchange server 2003 client exchange server 2007 use the same OAB simultaneously until i have completely move all clients

Hi all thanks for all update..i have point OAB to new exchange server now its work and error has resolved ..dont idea tomorrow the client on exchange server 2003 face the issue... your help is required for latest isuue which i have move one user client to exchange server 2007.. 1.can we access owa from my front end server 2003 after migrate mailbox to exchange server 2007..because i dont right now .i can access owa on exchange server 2007. 2 when i log off owa from exchange server 2007 its prompt me to close windows want to after lof off windows back to owa login windows ..waiting your valuable comments

Answer of your first Question is NO, Why do you want to access OWA from 2003? when you moved all the mailboxes Second questions answer is NO again as its by design, after you logoff from OWA the next page is to close the browser window. This is the default way it has designed, if you want to change it you will have to make the changes in IIS, which i am sure you don't want to mess with ;)Gulab | Skype: gulab.mallah
