Transition from one ISP to new one
We're transitioning from one ISP to a new one and while changing our A Record would like to be able to send receive email over both public IPs while the new record replicates over the internet. We have a Exchange 2007 CCR enviroment with 2 nodes and a Hub Transport / CAS Server. How can we configure the Hub Transport to do this?

It's hard to achieve on HT level. You should add or modify (if it exists) SPF record to include both IP addresses. That if DNS will replicate over internet you can change IP address of smart host in send connector properties.Regards, Konrad Sagala, MCT, MCSE+M, MCITP: Exchange 2007/2010, Lync 2010, Office365, Windows 2008, Virtualization

Simple solution IMO, is this, on your current Public DNS server management console, lower your TTL DNS records to minimum. Schedule the cut over on lower usage time (Saturday midnight etc.) You should not be needing to change anything on the internal Mail Servers (Assuming you are using NAT) good Luck ocd Oz Casey, Dedeal MCITP (EMA), MCITP (EA), MCITP (SA) Visit smtp25.blogspot.com Visit Telnet25.wordpress.com This posting is provided AS-IS with no warranties or guarantees and confers no rights.
