Transfering local copy of Outlook mailbox back to Exchange Server
I'm using Exchange Server 6.5 and XP and Windows 7 PCs, running Outlook 2007 and Outlook 2010 as the clients. The desktop clients run using Cached Exchange Mode, so the master copy of the mail remains on the server. For those users who also use laptops from remote locations, they connect to the network via VPN and then also use Outlook in Cached Exchange Mode, to access their mail. I've recently tried to configure an older Windows Vista laptop, running Office 2003, so that a user can access his mail from off-site in the same way. When I set-up Outlook, I accidentally left the delivery destination for mail pointing to the user's personal folders (.pst) instead of the Outlook file (.ost). So, instead of creating a local copy of the mailbox, the entire contents on the server were transferred to the .pst file. I've been able to correct this, so that new mail is directed to the Outlook file (.ost) and transferred the contents of the .pst file to the local .ost file. So when my user connects from the laptop, he can see his new mail and the historical record. However, when he uses his normal network connected desktop PC, he can only see the recent mail, as the older files are now only in the local laptop copy. Is there a method I could use to transfer the "missing" mail back to the Exchange server?

Hi , Yes, you can try Dragging and Dropping your items from a pst-file to ost. If it can't be perform due to exchange version. You can use ExMerge tool as Rich Matheisen said. Wendy Liu TechNet Community Support
