What version of Exchange? Pretty much just build new ones and then switch any DNS entries to point to them and/or reconfigure your load balancer.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Transfer OWA, ActiveSync, and Outlook Anywhere traffic to new CAS servers. Where can I find detailed steps to do this? if you are recovering the the failed servers or just turning off the old servers and doing /recover server switche there is nothing much you need to do if you want to add new servers and then you would need to change DNS you would also need certificates matching or including the new hostnames for client access server if you are adding them the load balencer array .. just reconfigure the hardware Dhruv

Going from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2007. Can I move users one at a time as I move their mailboxes or do I need to move everyone at once?

Actually I'm building a CAS to do just ActiveSync traffic. We have an Exchange 2003 site using ActiveSync and an Exchange 2007 site with 2 CAS servers that don't go externally. We want to add another CAS just for ActiveSync and harden it and enable it through the Juniper firewall.

ok, there is noting much you need to do in that case, just create a dns record like mail or webmail or activesynch .yourdomain.com that points to this server in the external dns also create a "autodiscover" host name and point it to this server and if you would like to legacy users to connect to using same domain name you have to do this http://msexchangeteam.com/archive/2007/01/05/432079.aspx Dhruv

I've set up ActiveSync in Exchange 2007 and it works for Exchange 2003 users but Exchange 2007 users are getting "unable to verify account info" Any ideas?

i suspect this is a certificate issue. on exchane server 2007 certificate enabled for IIS do you have all required subject names, this has to be a UCC/SAN cert Exchange 2003 does not require multiple subject names Dhruv
