This organization's certificate has been revoked

Hello,

Windows Server 2012

Exchange Server 2013

From Server:

run "Get-ExchangeCertificate|fl" looks ok

https://localhost/ecp/?ExchClientVer=15 -> I can use administrator login and setup Exchange server.

Except IE10 will show " The security certificate present by this website was issued for a different wsbsite's address. ..."

From Workstation:

https://ExServer/ecp/?ExchClientVer=15 -> I got "This organization's certificate has been revoked"

IE11 and uncheck "Check for server certificate revocation"

Outlook get error message " Proxy ExServer error code 4"

How can I fix this problem?

Thanks

Are you not using a trusted SSL certificate?

Exchange 2013 self signed certificates are really designed as place holders rather than for production use. You switch to a trusted SSL certificate (suitable ones are less than $80/year from http://certificatesforexchange.com/ ).

You could try reissuing the SSL certificate for Exchange using new-exchangecertificate - however that will still generate SSL prompts within clients. Switching to a trusted certificate is your only option to ensure you get no warnings.

Hi,

Are you using the self-signed cert or third party certificate?

You can run the following command to check your certificate settings on Exchange server:

Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl

On the client side, please create a new outlook profile and test again. If the issue continues, you may:

Installed Root CA certificate on client computer; Clear the "Check for server certificate revocation" checkbox in IE\Tool\Options.
