I  tried installing Microsoft Office SP1 (Service Pack 1 ) in my system . I could not complete the action as I get the following error

"The expected version of the product was not found on the system".

I am currently running Version : 140.0.4734.1000 in my system. Request your help in resolving this issue.

How did you get the current version of Office?

It seems the version that you are using is not a final version of Office. You will need to uninstall the current version of Office, then get a newer version of installer to install Office 2010 and update it to Service Pack 1.

If you are a volume licensing user, contact the Volume Licensing Service Center to ask for a newer installer:
