The Exchange 2007 transition readiness check has classified this Exchange organization model as 'Standard'.
Hi, read a few posts but can't seem to find out an answer. I have a newly installed 64bit SBS2008 machine. Now I'm a bit of an IT dummy so please try to keep things simple if you do have an answer! The upshot of it is that when I do the readiness check I get the message in the tile of this subject. Thing is I'm not trying to migrate anything or transition anything. It's just a fresh install and I just want it to work. Surely SBS2008 should set itself up to just work in this way for fresh installs? Is this an issue or can I just setup up my users etc. and it will work? I'm happy to leave it as is if someone can tell me this is nothing to worry about, but if it's going to be an issue I'd rather sort it now. The server will have only 5 user accounts and will not expand (I'm just using it at home and I've had a vasectomy so if there are any more users there could also be a divorce on the way). If asking for any technical info please remember I am a dummy and keep it simple if possible please. TIA

You should post SBS questions in the SBS forum. This forum is for Exchange Server. Even though you seem to be having trouble with the Exchange part, since you're doing a setup, the SBS forum would be more appropriate since its setup is special. -- Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems." .
