Test mail flow failure
We’re continuously receiving test mail flow failure from the Mailbox server TMEX04 to all the Exchange servers in the organization. Current MessageLatencyTime shows set to 240000 milliseconds. I need to know if increased MessageLatencyTime to 629061.8206ms then would it be applied at the organization level or we can set this for the test mail flow between TMEX04 to the Exchange servers in the organization? Here is a one of the test mail flow error message between TMEX04 to PMEX01, TMEX04 - Mail flow test for pmex01 response time threshold exceeded. The timeout threshold was 240000 millisecond(s). The maximum response time was 629061.8206 millisecond(s). HI Abhi, Verify that the target Mailbox server has a System Mailbox mailbox for each mailbox database that exists on the server, or that the mailbox that is specified by the TargetEmailAddress parameter exists. Also run EXBPA and mail flow troubleshooter on target MBX sevrer to check health of server. If still you did not get any info then wait till your maintenance windows and have a reboot of server to fix it. Anil

Hi Abhi, Anil provided the ways to troubleshoot the mail flow. Details, please see: Failed to detect the Remote Mailflow state http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb218066(EXCHG.80).aspx The two events you provided are about test-mailflow between TMEX01 to PMEX01, is there any error event about the server TMEX04? You can try to do a local test on the server TMEX04: Test–Mailflow –MonitoringContext $true –verbose | fl Test-Mailflow http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa995894(EXCHG.80).aspx Frank Wang
