Temporarily Disable Outlook Client Access (OWA and Outlook)
Our CEO wants to create an "email free" time during the day. How can I temporarily disable access to our Exchange Server 2003 server so that Outlook and OWA users cannot login to email, but incoming emails continue to hit the server? I want to allow users to have general network access; so I can't just disable their general Windows domain logins. How can I do it just to block access to Exchange/Outlook/OWA?

You could look at implementing the Disable MAPI Clients registry key to do this. You should be able to schedule this using a script. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/288894 Tony www.activedir.org
