Teaching Methods for Outlook/Outlook Express
Greetings All, I have, as part of my Tutor role, been assigned the task of teaching 'newbies' how to send/receive and configure their e-mail primarily in the 'vocational' or work-related field but hopefully also addressing their home use needs as well. In the past when faced with this task, i had these 'newbies' sign up for 'Hotmail' accounts and we then went through adding them and configuring them into whichever package we were using. With the changes to these e-mail packages (Outlook and OE), that methodology is obviously no longer suitable. I have spoken to out Network Administrator and he has no desire to create/delete new accounts on our domain for every new student whenever a new course starts. I can understand that. I do think adding and configuring an e-mail account is an important part of this training and would like to find a way to do so. Can anyone suggest an alternative? Regards Phillipw61

I find it hard to believe that no-one out there can help me with question. Surely there is someone who has had to deal with this difficulty? I know i could change to teaching via Windows Live Mail (as that at least accepts http mail) but that would be 'uncommon' in the workplace. Please...can't someone help?
