Tasks not showing completed among group of users sharing the same email address.

We have 6 of us that are sharing an email address (Dispatch)

This address is on the same server, with no cloud.

3 of the Outlooks are 2007, 2 are 2013, and 1 office 365

All are Window 7

The Problem:

When a customer places an email order we all see it at the same time. Anyone of us can flag that email as a task (any of the task choices) and even categorize it, and we all see it. we move it to a special orders folder and it moves for everyone. Anyone of us can do anything to that email and we all see it EXCEPT, when any of us mark it complete (the check mark) Only the person that completed the task can see it checked off. the rest of us still show it flagged.

We have search engined this problem to death and cant seem to find a solution. Please help.

Hi,

I'm not sure how the users "share" the email address, do you mean they setup the same email address on each one's Outlook client, or the email address is a shared mailbox?

If it's an Exchange account, let the users switch to Online Mode(non-cached Exchange), check if the problem persists.
