After Installing server 2008 , installing AD LDS and installing Edge server i get Subscribtion file and Import it on Hub Transport Server i need to synchroniz it with edge i get message LDAP is not Avelable ; i checked firewall and its off on all server i need to know if i should do configuration for AD LDS and what is it ? and things i should check

Hi ; Open AD LDS Wizard on Edge Server and select a uniqe instance then click next LDAP port = 389 SSL =636 When selech accont it be a loacl user account on Edge Server and i caan't choose AD account becouse edge not member on domain and thes message appear the selected account dose not have permission to run as a service i click yes and complete wizerd to finish it i need know the right way to make configuration and wt wrong i do thx

Youssef, what I would advice you to do next: 1. Remove the Edge-Transport Role from that server 2. Remove the AD LDS-role 3. Reboot the Machine 4. (Re)-Add the AD LDS role; and follow this guide: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa997269.aspx 5. Re-Install the Edge-Transport role and configure it accordingly. Could you try that and tell me if that works?
