Synchronization with your iPad failed for 1 items
Some of our users get the following message on their mailbox (see below). My first question before trying to get to the root cause is: How is that message generated? Where can we enable/disable it? Has anybody seen this? From: "Jdoe" <JDoe@Domain.com> Date: Feb 9, 2011 19:00:01 AM EST To: "JDoe" <Jdoe@domain.com> Subject: Synchronization with your iPad failed for 1 items. Basically your device connect to the activesync server through http/s long polling queries. Sometimes they can fail due to network issues, poor network coverage etc. and the email system generates such alerts. You might find the failure in the iis log used by the activesync service. Besides that, no information has been lost by the email system. We don't have any CRM apps in our environment. I am not sure if your blog applies here.

I will check the logs when this happens again but the IIS logs are usually cryptic and lack info. Thanks
