Synched library doesn't disappear from Windows folder if library is deleted in SharePoint Online?

How can I remove synched library shortcut from my personal folder in Windows? It doesn't disappear after the library is deleted in SharePoint.

If I choose delete on the shortcut in Windows Explorer > Cannot delete because the file is in use in One Drive. If I choose Properties of this "error" I will be forwarded to a SharePoint page where it says: The Page doesn't exist anymore.

Hi,

I can confirm the sync folder in Windows doesn't disappear even when the library has been deleted from SharePoint Online. We need to delete it manually.

Before you delete the folder in Windows Explorer, make sure you have stopped sync the folder:

Right click on the OneDrive for Business icon in the notification area, click "Stop syncing a folder", select the folder which has been removed from SharePoint Online, click "Stop syncing". Click "Yes" to confirm you want to stop syncing the folder.

Then we can find the sync folder display as a normal Windows folder instead of a sync folder, try to delete it again and it should be removed with no issue then.
