Sync issues in outlook 2007/2010 users in Exchange 2010 DAG environment
Offline synchronization problem for outlook 2007/2010 users in Exchange 2010 environment
Our domain is spread across different regions and recently we migrated to Exchange 2010 DAG from exchange 2003.Now some of the migrated users who are located in different databases complaining that they are reciveing mails slowly when they are using cached
mode option in outlook. I mean when a user using outlook 2007/ 2010 are receiving all mails at a time even though the mails are sent in different intervals. This issue is happening when particularly using cached mode option in outlook. With out cached mode
the delivery is working absolutely fine. Mail delivery also works fine when using OWA and active sync and the issue is happening only when enabling cached mode option in outlook. I have checked the users are spread across different databases and database copy
mounted in different servers. I am clueless to troubleshoot the issue further.
Please help to resolve this issue.

Hi
Is it same problem with both versions of Outlook?
Any logic in it?

Yes your correct. The issue is happening both outlook 2007 and 2010. The users spread across different databases and mounted in different servers in the DAG. This is something is related to Client/RPC throttling ? Please let me know what are all the
counters i can set to monitor this.

Will the messages be retrieved after click “Send/Receive” button?
Please check the ”Notif” column in the “Connection Status” of the outlook, see if it shows “Async”

It shows as Async.. Let me know how to proceed further.

It shows Async in one of the affected user's outlook profile. It does not show as async for one more affected user. This is mixed. Please comment.
