Sync issues Skydrive pro

We have on-premise Sharepoint 2013 at our company and we want to use SkyDrive Pro to Synchronize our files.
When I synchronize a folder on my computer and I want to open a File, I have an unexpected disuse :

The server version of this file has been updated by other autors causing your version to conflict whith the server.

The file on the sharepoint is actually always 2 hours younger than the file on my computer so it asks me which one I want to keep. Its exactly 2hours. I already checked the TimeZone of our computers and SharePoint server and it's UTC+1 Brussels.

Do you have any idea how can we figure out this error?

Hi,

Can you let me know what version of SkyDrive Pro you are using?  The easiest way to do this is to open up your Task Manager and look for either SkyDrive Pro or Groove.exe.  Right click on this and select properties and then paste the version here.

1. Is this the first time you have created this sync relationship with this library?

2. Had you moved any files into the local folder at any time prior to opening this file?

3. Are you seeing any errors in the Microsoft Office Upload center?

4. Are you seeing any icon overlay's over the SkyDrive Pro icon?

5. Is this the only file you are seeing this problem with?

6. Are there other files in the library that are younger the copies local to your machine?

Here is what I would like you to try:

Right or left click on the SkyDrive Pro icon in your system tray and select "Stop syncing a folder..."

Select the folder that has the trouble file in it and select stop syncing.

Navigate up to the library and click on the Sync button on the right hand side of the page and check to see if the file is downloaded with the proper time stamp and can be opened, modified and saved.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

i'm using skydrive pro version 15.0.4517.1003

1. No my sync has been working fine for at least one month before I had the issue
2. Probably, I sometimes do this.
3. Yes it shows Upload failed- for most of the items I have an issue with the date. Lately (since last week) it also shows me upload failed for most of the files I try to upload. Also, it told me a few times that the Microsoft Office Cache has an issue.
4. Yes it shows processing changes.
5. It does the same with all files from the sharepoint, all of my sync libraries (I have 4): if I open a file from the sharepoint without changing anything, it shows this issue
6. dont understand the question most of my files in the library dont exist in local

When stop synchronizing and start it again, the synchronization looks fine.

Are your files now getting updated as expected?

Do you still see the same issue if you attempt to open a file from a SharePoint library that is synced?

Hi,

I wanted to follow-up with this issue.

What I meant by #6 was if all the files within this synced library show a 2 hour older age than any file within the library in SharePoint.  Recall that when you sync a library with SharePoint it copies those files locally to a folder on your computer.

My other question was related to your last comment - when you stop syncing a library and then start the sync again do you ever run into the issue again with the 2 hour time difference?

As for the error you see that tells you the office cache is corrupt here is what I would like you to try:

Stop the sync for that library

If you have any other office application open exit those office applications

If you have SkyDrive running (the consumer or personal version of SkyDrive which uses the white cloud icon in your system tray) exit that out

Mouse over the Office Upload center and Open Office Upload center and then select repair cache

Once complete restart SkyDrive Pro and see if you see the cache error.

We are consistently experiencing the same issue.

Interestingly, We are in Mountain Time, GMT -7 time zone, and about 20% of our files are showing a six hour difference between the local copy and the server copy.  Skydrive Pro show that these files have failed to update but I know that many of them haven't changed since the first sync.  New PC's that are added to the sync library will show them as fine for a few weeks, and then they will start to show "Upload Failed".

It appears as if SkyDrive Pro is possibly having trouble reconciling the time zone offset.
