Switch from Outlook Web Access Light to Premium
We have an Exchange 2007 Windows server, v8.010436. One of our users, with Outlook 2003, has Outlook Web Access Light instead of Premium. I upgraded her browser from Internet Explorer 6 to 8, deleted all cookies and temporary internet files, but Outlook
Web Access still comes up as Light, even if I access her email account from the browser of another computer. There must be a parameter in her email account that says to use Light, but I can't seem to find it on the Exchange server. Any help would be appreciated!

a couple of things:
Set-CASMailbox -identity <alias> –OWAPremiumClientEnabled
IF that doesnt work, check that the blind and low vision experience options arent enabled under OWA options for that user.

I'm with Andy on this one. I don't think that the server remembers which version of OWA a user last selected. The the low vision setting is remembered. What happens if she accesses from a different machine?

In almost every case I've seen that's the problem. It's not obvious
that's the way to remedy the situation, though!

Hi,
Most of these problems are caused by the third-party IE add-ons or incorrect IE settings.
1. Try to disable all add-ons.

If there's any third-party Internet firewall installed on the computer, please also disable it for testing.
2. Log into Windows by using another Windows user profile. If the problem is resolved, you need to remove the user's profile.
Then when user log into the computer, a new profile will be created. Before removing the user's profile, please first backup the user's personal files.

Where would I go to set PremiumClientEnabled? Also, on the server, under properties for this user, I see Outlook Web Access on the Mailbox Features tab, but Properties is grayed out. That looks like to place to set blind and low vision experience, but
it won't let me set properties there.

Have the user open OWA and they can change it there under options.
The Set-CASMailbox -identity <alias> –OWAPremiumClientEnabled command is a powershell command:

It was the blind and low vision setting. Thanks all who suggested it. I never would have thought to look for that...
