The Surface pen top button won't start OneNote 2013. No matter if I set it as default in OneNote options and the Surface app, the button will still start the metro app.

Hi Seb,
I do experience exactly the same problem. Have you solved it? OneNote 2013 is installed and set up als the default in OneNote options.
Within the Metro app "Surface" option "OneNote Desktop" is selected, the other option would only be "OneNote [Standard]".
Additionally, the metro app OneNote also started when I push the "Notiz" button (i guess its called Note in an english system?) on the windows 10 sidebar.
