Sudden and now persistent inability to log on to the University Exchange Server via Outlook 2010
Hello, I am a medical student at Marshall University School of Medicine. My university uses the live@edu server program. All I know for sure about the server is that our email addresses are: user@live.marshall.edu I recently purchased a computer with 64 bit Windows 7 Home Premium. I am an avid user of OneNote so I bought a download of Office 2010 Professional Plus as soon as I saw it was available. It is a 64 bit version of office and has resolved a few serious functionality problems. I installed the Office 2010 Professional Plus suite On May 6, 2010. I fired up Outlook 2010 and the wizard came up and I just entered my name, email address, and password into the wizard and it connected. I have been using the Outlook Web App and synchronizing all of my machines. (2 computers and a smartphone) via the University server. I had full functionality up until this past Friday June, 4. Now suddenly, I can no longer connect to the server. I went to the University IT help desk and they could not figure it out. At this point, I erased the account from Outlook and am trying to reconnect. I have tried manual setup with about 15 different server names. Nothing works. I have a lot of information. In fact here is some error reporting.
