Storage RAID Requirements for Exchange in a Virtual Environment to qualify for support (if needed)
The title basically asks the question. If I need to get support from MS on Exchange and it is virtualized, what RAID configuration is required for MS to support any issue? Current environment would be Exchange 2013, VM vSphere 6.0, EMC SAN (VNXe 3200),
Server 2012 R2 DC. The Datastore is residing on the EMC which is implementing multi tier storage (NAND, SAS 10K, NL-SAS) in several RAID configurations across the tiers.

AFAIK Microsoft will support any RAID configuration, which is bolstered by the fact that they recommend JBOD with multiple replicated copies, and that's what they deploy in Office 365.
