Storage Concerns
hello,I need some advice from storage experts:Situation is as follows:We have Exchange 2007 organization: 2 mailbox servers, 2 hub transports, 2 CAS, 2 edge servers. We have SAN network ready for that mailbox servers. We will be running around 3000 users, spread between them. Current SAN config is that we have around 18 Luns (2 per storage group) in RAID10, every DB is 160GB and log 30GB. We are going to use on first mailbox server 10 Luns and on second 8 of them. Do you think that visible setup from getting the best what we can get from what we have? Is there any real difference if we create less Luns and put more storage groups in each lun? I was thinking about adding one more LUN for some maintenance work we will be doing, like restores, eseutil etc. What do you think about that? Thanks for any advice
