I want to create a new email account. When exchange ask me to choose mail StorageGroup. I found the list is empty. It is not empty yesterday. Moreover, I tried to create new StorageGroup by calling New-StorageGroup test -v. The console printed "could not find parent object of test. Please check whether InformationStore is avaiable. Please check whether information store service is running in Exchange Server. Which version you are using in Exchange. Also this can be issue of permission to account you use for create new mailbox. Anil

services.msc shows Infromation Store service is running. I am using Exchange 2007. The account I use for create new mailbox is in group of Administrators. Thanks superZZ
