Split DNS and Edge Server
Hi I have two DNS name one for internal AD (micron.local) and one for external SMTP (micron.ae) I want to install exchange 2007 edge server on DMZ and there is one requirement for edge server to define DNS suffix for edge server before installation Now in my sinario what DNS suffix I have to put on Edge server, local or exernal Nagorimanagori

Typically you would enter the external address so mail can be routed

Also, you would want people to send email to myemail@micron.ae so it can be routed properly to your server from the internet. by default your addresses would probably look like myemail@micron.local becuase you have named your domain that way so you would need to create an email address policy that assigned micron.ae to be the domain.
