Sometimes MX doesn't change.

Hello,

I have an account: malee@cwi.co.th, I found that when users from @hotmail.com sent mail to us,

they received  bounce message just like there has no account (malee@cwi.co.th) on the mail server

So, I found on the header source of the sender: d2k_nok@hotmail.com it showed my old mx: netway14.netway.co.th, even

I use the new MX:mxtl-20.maildee.com.

Do you have any suggestion?

Hi ,

Did you made any recent changes on MX records ? If so then it would take some time to replicate across globally in public DNS.

What is the preference set for the below mentioned MX records ?

netway14.netway.co.th

mxtl-20.maildee.com

What happens if the mail is coming from other sender domains ? Does it get routed through the MX record netway14.netway.co.th ?

If possible please share us the NDR received on the senders end ?

Hello,

This is my current MX.

cwi.co.th. MX 10 mxtl-10.maildee.com. <input name="mxrecs0" style="font-size:8pt;font-family:verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;line-height:12px;" type="checkbox" value="name=jsvision.com.&value=10 mxtl-10.maildee.com." />
cwi.co.th. MX 20 mxtl-20.maildee.com. <input name="mxrecs1" style="font-size:8pt;font-family:verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;line-height:12px;" type="checkbox" value="name=jsvision.com.&value=20 mxtl-20.maildee.com." />
cwi.co.th. MX 30 mxtl-30.maildee.com. <input name="mxrecs2" style="font-size:8pt;font-family:verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif;line-height:12px;" type="checkbox" value="name=jsvision.com.&value=30 mxtl-30.maildee.com." />
cwi.co.th. MX 40 mxtl-40.maildee.com.

If other domains send emails to me, I can get email from them with the correct MX.

What is the NDR? Sorry, I have not much technical knowledge.

Best Regards,

Jammie R.
