Something went wrong

Hello,

I have a strange problem.

When external user (outside of my lan) try to access to OWA, they can sign in, then they receive this message:

This is the same with Firefox, IE, Chrome, name it....

On my lan everything works fine.

Strange thing, with "OWA Light", eveything works fine from outside.

The problem is with the "Premium" version.

Idea?

It deactivate the IPS, Antivirus, everything...

Hey,

Can you go through ADSIEDIT (Configuration>Services>Microsoft Exchange>Select Organization>CN=Client Access >Right click and select properties) and see the following values

msExchCanaryData0,msExchCanaryData1,msExchCanaryData3,msExchCanaryData4

Check if some values are set there: If so,

Take a backup of the values in a text file (If required for future) and clear the value (Looks <not set>)

After this (even if the above step is not required), Open IIS Manager on your CAS servers, go to Application Pools, right click MSExchangeOWAAppPool and click Recycling

Now restart all the exchange servers and see if the issue is fixed

Hi,

Have you got a chance to look at the ADSI settings? Have you seen some values to the keys I mentioned? AD and IIS comes in to various places when you try from internal/external

Hi,

Please check if there are any events in application log.

And if Office web app server integration with OWA was not configured correctly, this issue will occur.

Please refer to this document to check this setting.

I didn't install Office web app server.

Is it install by default with exchange ?

Do you have more information about it?

Is there a way to confirm it's install?

Hi,

Good to hear that you are planning for the troubleshooting as I suggested. The issue is, some wrong values set there or no values are required at all..Exchange system will manage the value actually
