Hi together,we have Exchagen 2007 behind a firewall and on the other side are the relay server Postfix. Now, if i send an internal email, everything is fine.If i send an externel mail (over the firewall, trough the postfix to abc@web.com) , some times the mail a reach the adress. But the most time the mail dont reaches the adress. The same is, if i get mail vom external adresses abc@web.com > exchange 2007 (over the postfix through the firewall). In the logs i found this entries:SMTPSubmit SMTPAcceptAnySender SMTPAcceptAuthoritativeDomainSender AcceptRoutingHeaders,Set Session Permissions>,"220 servername.xyz.local Microsoft ESMTP MAIL Service ready at Tue, 20 May 2008 12:32:15 +0200",<,EHLO as01.domain.com,>,250-servername.xyz.local Hello [192.168.221.21],>,250-SIZE 10485760,>,250-PIPELINING,>,250-DSN,>,250-ENHANCEDSTATUSCODES,>,250-AUTH,>,250-8BITMIME,>,250-BINARYMIME,>,250 CHUNKING,<,MAIL FROM:<info@abc.de> SIZE=2040 BODY=8BITMIME,*,08CA881556F65185;2008-05-20T10:32:15.785Z;1,receiving message>,250 2.1.0 Sender OK,<,RCPT TO:<info@ggg.com> ORCPT=rfc822;info@ggg.com,>,250 2.1.5 Recipient OK,<,DATA,>,354 Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF>,*******************************************What is wrong? Thanks for help and sorry for my english!GreetzGunter

Hi, I understand that most of the email could not be sent or received. Before going on, I would like to confirm whether any error messages were received when this issue occurred. From the log that you provided, I found there was no Authenticate (based on the certificate) to the Edge server. In the protocol log the session between Hub and Edge should issue STARTTLS or X-ANONYMOUSTLS at some point. Please check whether the Transport Layer Security (TLS) has been enabled. Additionally, I suggest enable the protocol log of the send connector on the Edge server. Please set Protocol Logging from "None" to "Verbose" on the first tab. Please find the files in "TransportRoles\Logging\Protocol\Smtp\SmtpSend", then share the log file. please also check whether the emails are queued? Please use message tracking to check where does the message stick.
