Id like to make a summary for this thread: Your organization uses a software to send the emails with SMTP. There emails are classified with two kinds, one is called notification emails and the other is called task emails. The task emails were shown as Chinese characters (unreadable). It affected all Outlook users in your organization. Moreover, the mails were readable in your Outlook After they were forwarded from the sent folder in a G-mail account. The emails in the G-mail account were shown correctly, they were forwarded with a suitable font. Thus the issue should be that some special email font cant be shown correctly in Outlook client. I recommend you post a new thread with details to our Outlook forum where the engineers can provide a more professional help and better service. Your understanding is much appreciated.
