  1. If the user in question has rules applied to their mailbox you may see if removing them resolves the issue
  2. Check out this link as well http://johanveldhuis.nl/en/mapiexceptioninvalidparameter-unable-to-set-properties-on-object-hr0x80070057-ec-2147024809/

Have you checked your services ? make sure they are running. Try to test the replication health as well.

Hope these will help you to resolve the problem.

replication is good, thank you.

Most users are moving just fine, so I'd suspect it has something to do with their mailbox.

Hi Fran,

From your problem description, maybe the issue is caused by mail rules that the users have created. So I agree with Troy's suggestion. Please try to remove these rules and see the result.

If there are some problems, please free let me know.

Best regards,
Amy

We currently can't get access to the mailbox from Outlook 2010 or OWA.  Anything we can do short of restoring the mailbox to gain access to it?

Thank you everyone for helping!

Well if removing the rules or following the other link I sent is not of service then you could use a 3rd party product like Lucid8's DigiScope to complete the task.

Basically you have moved all other mailboxes already, correct?  If so then read on

DigiScope http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp has the ability to open any offline Exchange Database so that you can Browse, Search, Export Mailboxes, Folders and Items to PST & MSG or in your particular case to Recover/Import/Migrate data directly from any Offline Exchange database to ANY Production Exchange server, even cross version i.e. 2003 --> 2007 --> 2010 etc.  So what you would do is  take that DB offline, make a copy then do a dial tone db on the 2007 server & move the empty mailboxes to the 2010 server which will now go very quickly and then use DigiScope to ingest/recover/migrate the 2007 data into the 2010 server while users are in their mailboxes.

Here are the basic steps.

1. Take an Exchange 2007 database offline

2. Make a copy of that database to an alternate location

3. Ensure that DigiScope can open it and see all mailboxes

4. Now rename that db, i.e. if its currently named mailstore1.edb name it OLD_mailstore1.edb

5. Now go back into Exchange management console and mount that renamed database and Exchange will complain that it cannot find the database and if you continue a new database will be created.

6. Say yes and now a new database is created and the previous users/mailboxes in that database can now accept mail flow, i.e. they can send and receive new messages however all the historical messages will be missing until they are restored with DigiScope.

7. Now move those mailboxes via the Exchange 2010 mailbox move process.  They will move very quickly since there is very little data.

8. Once moved use DigiScope  from a local member machine to open a copy of the 2007 database and tell it to recover the mailboxes into the new environment.  While this is happening the users can continue to access their mailboxes without issue, i.e. they will just see the historical data appear as its reco
