Software asks me to activate, but then says it is already activated and closes the program

Hi.  I purchased Microsoft Expression Web online from a non-Microsoft vendor. Two months ago I activated the product with the supplied activation key and have been using it with no problems.

Today when I tried to start the program it said that I had to activate it. When I click on "activate product now" and "continue" it says that it is already activated.  When I click on "ok", it closes the program.

With this glitch I have no way of opening the program.  Please tell me what to do, or refer me to someone who might be able to help.

Have you tried repairing the installation? This issue may be caused by the installation corruption.

By the way, in this forum we mainly discuss questions and feedbacks about Office products, while your question is not about Microsoft Expression Web, we are not the best resource to provide assistance.
