Small Business Server 2008 Standard Edition
Hi I'm running a Windows SBS 2008 Standard Edition SP2 with Exchange 2007 Intel Xenon E5520 @2.27GZ, 8 GB of Ram Domain environment with 20 clients running Office 2010 Two weeks ago we started receiving the windows security credentials pop up asking for username and password. When you key in your credentials the pop up goes away and everything works fine, all emails are sent and received. Fifteen minutes after the same pop up asking for credentials comes back. No programs or patches have been installed or deleted. I've tried pretty much every blog out there and non of it works. The connect with HTTP setting is not checked in the security tab. We negotiate authentication, use cached exchange mode and connect using LAN. Would appreciate any assistance anyone could give me. Thanks

Unfortunately saying that you have tried everything doesn't help because we have no idea what "everything" is. Therefore we can only suggest things that you may have tried. As this is SBS 2008, the first thing to do is run the fix my network wizard from the SBS management console. That will find and correct many things. I would also suggest the SBS 2008 BPA is run on the system and that you correct things it flags. Ensure that autodiscover.example.com doesn't resolve internally (where example.com is the domain name after the @ in your public email address). Hello, do you have applied the latest rollup/SP for Exchange? There was a bug in SBS which has been fixed with RU8. http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2010/02/16/outlook-2007-credential-prompts-in-small-business-server-2008.aspx Greetings, Toni
