We are currently expierencing users complaining of slow owa logins, opening e-mails messages after logging in and also downloading small attachments (1mb is size). Resoures do not appear to be the issue on the CAS server. 2cpu with 4gig of ram. Approx 200 users, using owa, active sync and outlook anywhere. I do not see any resource issues on the CAS server causing the bottleneck. Cannot replicate the problem internally on the LAN or over a vpn connection. All connections to the CAS server are quick and responseive. Issue is only when connnecting over the Internet.

"Issue is only when connnecting over the Internet." Not sure how anyone can help you with that. you could try creating a share on the server and opening ports to allow for a test, then attempting to download a file remotely and see if that's slow across the net as well.

i have the same issue, I am running Exchange 2010, 2 CPU's 14 GIG of Ram, runs perect internally, slower than molasses in Jan. Work around was to only allow OWA BASIC instead of Premium. This works great, it just does not have all the functons one would like to use. If you discover a fix, please let me know, i will post as well. Cheers
