Slashes in Outlook 2010 calender
I have a user that is trying to schedule appointments for other users in Outlook 2010.  She gets back slashes when she goes to schedule and appointment for him in the time slot where she tried to schedule the meeting.   She already is a delegate and only recently started having issues.  In Outlook 2007 there is an add in that we enable Beehive Extensions for Outlook which seems to rectify the issue.  However there are no disabled add ins.  She is connecting over a Cisco Anyconnect VPN Session and we use an IMap Server... Any suggestions?

The slashes mean that the client cannot read the data from the Availability Service, which is part of Exchange Web Services.  I cannot offer any suggestion why this particular client can't connect to the service.

Hi,

According to your description, there is an issue that a delegate cannot see free\busy data for the manager.

I suggest we can run Get-CalendarProcessing to check automateprocessing status for the managers mailbox. If it is not set properly, we need to run the following command to determine the value of the AutomateProcessing parameter:

Set-CalendarProcessing mailbox_name AutomateProcessing:AutoUpdate

If all configuration is ok, please try to remove and re-add the delegate for the mailbox to check whether the issue persists.

Thanks,

Winnie
