Skype For Business .dll error

Hello!

I am using a Dell KACE K1000 to push out an installation of Skype For Business to a machine in our office (with the end goal being many more machines getting the installation). I created an MSI file out of the Skype EXE file that I downloaded from Office365 using AppDeploy. I was able to push the program out to the computer, but when I try and launch the program, I get the following error message:

"The program can't start because AppVIsvSubsystems32.dll is missing from your computer."

What is causing this? Clearly, the dll file is missing, but when I check AppDeploy while the MSI file creation is in progress, I see that this file is included in there. Any idea of a work around for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi,

The AppVIsvSubsystems32.dll is part of the Microsoft Application Virtualization for Windows Operation System. You will encounter related error if Windows cannot properly load your appvisvsubsystems32.dll file.

Can you find the AppVIsvSubsystems32.dll on the computer? If it exists but you still get this message, you may need to re-register Appvisvsubsystems32.dll to check the result. You can refer to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/249873 and learn how to re-register dlls with the Regsvr32 tool.

I hope this will be helpful.
