Single user trouble receiving mail from specific domain
Hello I have a single user who is unable to receive mail from another email address she has externally and I am unsure why. If she sends an email from user@externaldomain.com to other people within the office the emails go through no problem but when she sends them to herself they do not. I do have an email filter and I see that the emails are arriving and being passed but I am unable to find them on Exchange. Because emails to other users arrive with no problems, I don't believe the problem resides here. There are no delivery restrictions on the user's mailbox and these emails have arrived in the past, I am unsure what has changed. When I login to the Message Tracking tool and search for the emails, I do not see any arriving to her mailbox, but I am able to see them arriving to the other mailboxes we've sent messages to. Other external test messages to this mailbox work as well. Can anyone offer some advice or other troubleshooting steps? From what I've detailed here it seems like an Exchange problem to me but I can't locate these missing messages and I am unsure how to find them. Thanks Ryan

Hi, See if you can find the message in EMS instead. Example: Get-TransportServer | Get-MessageTrackingLog -Sender sender@somedomain.com -Recipients user@domain.com | flMartina Miskovic

Thanks Martina I don't see anything there. If I do Tracking Log Explorer I am able to see the emails, though? And it looks like there is 2 copies of each email. One is sourced from SMTP (RECEIVE) and the other is STOREDRIVER (DELIVER). When the email source is SMTP, I see myself and the user listed as recipients. When the email source is STOREDRIVER, it's just me. I dove further into the SMTP message and found: 550 5.1.1 RESOLVER.ADR.RecipNotFound; not found Looked at the address, and it looks like the user has her email typed incorrectly from her external mail contacts, heh.
