Single User Free/Busy issue, Outlook 2007/Exchange 2007
Hi, Have Exchange 2007 & Outlook 2007 for all users. No Exchange 2003 exists in the environment. No Outlook 2003 in the environment. I have one user with an issue where no one can see his Free/Busy, either in Outlook 2007 or in OWA. Tested e-mail AutoConfiguration and Autodiscover is fine (as is OOF/OAB etc). Tried starting Outlook for the user with "/Cleanfreebusy" switch and no luck. Anyone know what I can do or look for?

No you cannot see this one particular user's Free/Busy either in OWA or Outlook 2007. And as stated, I have no Outlook 2003 Exchange 2003. it is all version 2007. Thanks.

It is not the best solution, but if anything else works export his mailbox, delete the mailbox, and create new one, and import the data. It is a last resort solution but if you do not have any other option I would take that chanceWith kind regards Krystian Zieja http://www.projectnenvision.com Follow me on twitter My Blog

Hello, You can try: 1. From the problematic User workstation, login as the user and open Outlook. 2. Export the Calendar folder to an PST file as a backup. 3. Exit Outlook. 4. Start MFCMAPI.exe <http://www.microsoft.com/DownLoads/details.aspx?familyid=55FDFFD7-1878-4637-9808-1E21ABB3AE37&displaylang=en> 5. Under the Session menu, choose "Logon and Display Stores" (Choose the profile if prompted) 6. Double Click the problematic profile, and then click Open 7. Expand: Root Container -> Top of information Store 8. Right-click “Calendar” and select "Delete Folder". 9. Select Deletion Style "Permanent delete passing Delete_Hard_Delete (unrecoverable)" and hit OK. 10. Reset Outlook Folder by the following steps: a. From the User workstation, click Start / Run b. On the command line enter "Outlook.exe / resetfolders". This will rebuild the Calendar folder c. Copy the Calendar Information back to Mailbox from the PST backup. 11. Run “Outlook.exe /cleanfreebusy” again. If it still does not work, it seems the user’s mailbox is corrupted. The most efficient way is to export the content and rebuild the mailbox for the user. Thanks, Simon
