Silverlight Error Code 4001 AG_E_NETWORK_ERROR
The above text is included in the error message I receive whern trying to view a webcast on technet, ironically a web cast on using Process Monitor to diagnose problems ! The error text also mentions "media" and I get the same error when trying to view other files of the same type on the same site. I notice that a second click/drdag on the play control of the blank "viewing" screen that somes up can givean additional error message like"Time Object, Seconds missing" My system is Windows XP sp3, NVidia 7600 GT with dual monitors, P4 3Mhz, plenty of HDD and RAM no problems with other audio video, including Real Player and YouTube. There is no obvious security or fire zone block I can see (doesn't mean that I've not missed one), and trying over and over again does not help. I moved from Silverlight 1.xx to 2.xx (Beta) and that did not help. The computer is a home office one wired to a router and then via optical cable to my ISP. Any hints would be appreciated because I've run out of ideas. Is dumping Silver light an option? TrevorMac
